GCV, started in 1997 as a home-based women’s accountability group for the purpose of equipping women with biblical principles for continuous pursuit of a sincere commitment to Christ.  The Ministry evolved to a new level beginning December 2004 when we left the confines of the home and purposefully connected with Sistas that were in transition from substance abuse and other life challenges.  Seeds, by way of personal bible lessons, impartation of prayers, gifts and sisterly fellowship, were sown into the lives of our Sistas.

Today the GCV Ministry is on the World Wide Web; thus, further expanding the territory for God’s glory.  Through this amazing technology, now we can connect with our Sistas in Africa, Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico and other parts of the world with the purposeful aim of edifying, exhorting, equipping and encouraging.  

Not only locally within various places of Sacramento, CA, but GCV has also traveled and imparted into the lives of women in Kenya Africa, and Brazil.
