GCV Ministry began in 1997 as a home-based women’s accountability group, created to equip women with biblical principles and encourage a lifelong, sincere commitment to Christ. What started in the intimate setting of a home soon began to grow. In December 2004, the ministry took a new direction—stepping beyond the home to reach out intentionally to women in transition, including those overcoming substance abuse and other life challenges. Seeds of transformation were sown through personalized Bible studies, heartfelt prayers, meaningful gifts, and genuine sisterly fellowship.

Today, GCV Ministry has expanded its reach through the power of the internet. Being present on the World Wide Web has allowed us to broaden our territory for God’s glory, connecting with women across the globe—including in Africa, Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, and beyond. Our mission remains clear: to edify, exhort, equip, and encourage women wherever they are.

Beyond our local presence in Sacramento, California, GCV Ministry has also had the privilege of ministering internationally, sharing God’s love and truth with women in Kenya, Africa, and Brazil.
